Over 100 pages of Japanese explanatory text and many, many samples of printing work in a commercial vein, demonstrating the printing capabilities of the industry in Ôsaka. A dominant Deco aesthetic and superior techniques make this a remarkable testament to the sophistication of commercial art in Japan in the 30s. The book block is loosening from the covers, else very good in the original publisher's slipcase.
